According to recent studies, more than 20.6 million people in our country have an addition. While addiction impacts individuals of all backgrounds, sadly only three million people seek treatment.

The Center has clinically-licensed staff and certified counselors that are committed to helping individuals achieve recovery and learn how to sustain a recovery-oriented life. We are licensed by the Illinois Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery to provide Level I and Level II addiction counseling and treatment services for adults and adolescents. We are also licensed to provide DUI evaluations for those requiring services.

Substance use services are delivered in individual and group formats and utilize educational components as well as recovery treatment groups.

Our therapists are also available to present to schools, civic groups, hospitals, and other community groups on the topic of addiction and recovery-based resources.

We offer evening hours and base some fees on family size and income.

Substance Use & Prevention Program Services

DUI Assessment and Evaluation

Available when requested by the courts or required by the Secretary of State’s Office. Remedial Alcohol/Drug classes and counseling services are also provided.

Substance Use Program

Helps those affected by alcohol or drug use learn new ways to cope with life while overcoming their addiction. Alcohol/drug assessments are available to determine the severity of the abuse.

Counseling Services & Support Groups

Available for the family and friends of individuals that are affected by alcohol or drug use to aid them in coping with stress and day-to-day problems inherent in being involved with a person suffering from addiction. Family and friends can be essential aids in the recovery process.

Recovery Support Services

Funding through a Recovery-Oriented System of Care (ROSC) grant by Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) allows us to provide support services for individuals in recovery, to help eliminate stigma related to substance use disorder, and to provide safe, healthy recreational activities for the Sober Community.

Adolescent School-Based Services

Offering individual, group counseling, and crisis intervention to drug and alcohol users in Piatt and DeWitt Counties. Through these services, individuals will learn new and healthy means to cope with life while overcoming their addiction. Services are also offered to court referred adolescents. The goal is to meet the needs of adolescents through a program specifically designed for them.

In compliance with federal regulations and to reduce the risk of harm to children, both before and after they are born, if requested, the Piatt County Substance use Program offers immediate assessment and treatment.
